What Is Botox® Cosmetic?
Botox® is an purified toxin that is injected to weakens facial muscles that are
responsible for facial and neck wrinkles. Botox® can also change the shape of
the face by elevated the eyebrows or corners of the mouth. Botox® has also be used to
treat hyperhidrosis in the hands and underarm areas.

or Lambert-Eaton syndrome may be at increased risk of serious side effects.
How is Botox® Cosmetic applied?
Botox® Cosmetic is injected with a very small needle into the muscles responsible for facial wrinkling.
I recommend that Botox® Cosmetic should only be administered by a Board Certified Physician who is
well trained in the anatomy of the face.

What does Botox® Cosmetic cost?
The Botox® Cosmetic at Spa Aesthetica is administered to the facial muscles in a quantity of UNITS.
The cost per unit will range from $9 to $14 per unit. Most areas of the face will require 20 to 30 units.
This amount is enough to last most patients for 3 to 4 months.
