LATISSE™ is an FDA-approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker. The FDA reviewed clinical study results to verify the identity, potency, purity, and stability of the ingredients, and demonstrated that the product is safe and effective for its intended use if used as prescribed.

How is Lastisse™ applied?

What are possible the side effects with Latisse™?

The most common side effects after using LATISSE™ solution are an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness. This was reported in approximately 4% of patients. And if you are using products for elevated intraocular pressure, you should only use LATISSE™ after consulting with your doctor.

Plastic surgeons are trained to understand the anatomy and artistic nature of these cosmetic medications and desired results that patients expect. When exploring a doctors creditials, it is important to understand the differences in training that define the educational process leading to Board Certification. I believe that when looking for a cosmetic specialist you should highly consider board certified surgical specialists. Look at the surgeon's training after medical school. Look at the surgeon's board certifications. After you have researched a doctors credentials, the next step is to schedule a consultation.
